Join us on Christmas Eve as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Light of the World. Isaiah 9:2 tells us that a great light has shone into the darkness, and that promise is fulfilled in Christ. He comes with hope, grace, and truth for every heart that turns to Him.


Each gathering will include Christmas carols, Scripture reading, multi-media elements, and a short reflection on how and why Jesus is the Light of the World. These are family-friendly gatherings with something special for the kids, and we’ll finish the night with warm drinks and Christmas treats.

An Invitation to Year-End Giving & First Gifts

As we move into the Christmas season, generosity is an important component. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that each of us is called to give as we’ve decided in our hearts, not reluctantly or under pressure, because God loves a cheerful giver. That kind of generosity grows out of gratitude. It’s a joyful response to God’s provision with open hands and open hearts.

  • First Gifts Project

    Each Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, before we exchange gifts with each other, we set aside a special opportunity to give our “first gift” in Jesus’ name to organizations serving people in need right here in Whitehorse. Every donation given on December 24th and 25th—including gifts received during our Christmas Eve gatherings—will be forwarded to three local charities:


    • The Whitehorse Food Bank – providing emergency food for individuals and families
    • The Women’s Transition Home – offering safety, care, and hope for women and children experiencing violence
    • Yukon Cares – helping refugees build empowered and engaged lives in the Yukon and beyond


    These First Gifts meet practical needs and shine the compassion of Jesus in our city.
