MINISTRY MENTORSHIP

Mountainview Church is a member of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches (FEB). As a Fellowship Church, we have joined with member churches across our Pacific Region (BC & Yukon), to accomplish the following goals:


"As God leads, we (Fellowship Pacific) will...

  1. Have grown our number of congregations by 30%, with people coming to Christ in every one, every year.
  2. Have assisted every church to identify emerging church leaders such that more than 2500 leaders have participated in intentional leadership development processes.
  3. Have actively engaged every church in creating and implementing a defined discipleship plan that is appropriately scaled and applicable to their community culture." (Fellowship Pacific, Vision 2022)

In 2019, we started working toward these goals.


Specifically focusing on goal #2, we launched a mentorship program for young leaders. Our plan was to identify, invest in, and empower Christian men and women between the ages of 18 to 30, inviting them into a 1-year ministry mentorship, increasing their leadership potential for the future.
