Introducing Share the Light Week, offering a few different projects and gatherings to bless our community and lessen the impact of Blue Monday.
As Blue Monday approaches, the dark and cold have started to take their toll. Christmas and New Year’s nostalgia has faded, volunteer services are less available, and mental health struggles are increasing. We want to share God’s love and light into the darkness.
As part of Mountainview’s Share the Light Week, to offering a few different projects and gatherings to bless our community and lessen the impact of Blue Monday.
- On Saturday, January 14th, we will be packing “Boxes of Light” with helpful gifts and resources, to be distributed through local agencies that will privately identify their clients who are struggling with mental health, substance abuse, depression and anxiety, and other related issues. - On Sunday, January 15th at 6:00 PM, join us for a Knitting & Mental Health Night, whether you’re an experienced knitter, interested in getting started, or just interested to come and listen. All are welcome! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
